A Review of Convenience Store Troubadours
A truly fun and irreverent collection of political commentary/spoken word pieces disguised as catchy folk songs. Set to the backdrop of an accordion, guitar, minimal percussion, and the occasional sax are apocalyptic songs about Breakfast Serial Killers, Elvis, Jesus, beer, censorship, beanie babies, and the mundanity of yuppie relationships. Kind of along the line of The Capital Steps except baser and with much more sex. And, of course, thumbs up for the naked people on the front jacket.
