Former music partners (and people I still like)
Anne Feeney
Aside from being my music partner for 5 years (2000-2005) she was my hero well before we stated working together and she remains my good friend. She Rocks!David Rovics
David Rovics was my music director for a year. We called ourselves Avoiding Godot. He has been called the musical voice of the progressive movement in the US. Amy Goodman has called him "the musical version of Democracy Now!" Since the mid-90's Rovics has spent most of his time on the road, playing hundreds of shows every year throughout North America, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.Magda Hiller
Magda is perhaps the brightest most outgoing people ever. We worked together for a year as "Over ther Counter Culture." Ahhh... Hollywood Florida. We lived down town with a bunch of 20 something rappers. Everybody hit hard. I love my memories of those days.In these times Mag is still making great music and living in deLand, FL.
Laura Freeman
Laura Freeman may be the only truly gifted musician I have ever met. We worked together for a few years - made Hell Toupee together. These days she is doing a kids show. She has a winter show for the underprivileged snowless children of the south. She also has a very exciting palette of color songs where children experience the natural world around them one color at a time.Samantha Parton
Sammy and I worked together for a few years - she joined the team with David Rovics, and stayed on thru DR. We made one record together - she went on to found the Be Good Tanyas.Their music has been described as beguiling, haunting, rustic, ambient, hobo-erotica, and goth-folk. They are Frazey Ford, Trish Klein, and Samantha Parton.
