Looking forward to some summer road dates - If you are in the the Pacific North West of this country or the Great South West of Canada there are some dates for you - and if you are in that area and have a desire to have us stop by your house or venue and do a song and dance drop me a line...
OK, OK enough of the crass commercial announcements and on with...
T.H.E. .M.U.S.E. .A.N.D. .W.H.I.R.L.E.D. .R.E.T.O.R.T.
Walking around all this hippy faire - I see all these signs that say, "Yes Yes Yes!"
Well I am here to say “NO NO NO!” but when you say it - spell it with a K.

That’s why... ....I finally made it to the mountain top, when my ship came in...
It made me realize....
...If life were easy everybody would be having one.
But no, it’s not... life is full of paradoxes and opposites - and Oxymorons: Tight Slacks... The Deep South... Marijuana Initiative... Microsoft Works... Holy War.
It all just makes you want to shout!

It should be called Obsessive Compulsive ORDER!

...I am too open-minded to truly believe my own defense.
I grab my accuser by the lapels and say, “Come on you can do better than that.”
That’s why whenever someone say's something is fool proof I ride a unicycle and try to juggle.
‘Cause Like I always say, two minds are better than none. (jen had to help me with that line.)

Though in truth, I thought a "Raw Food Diet" just meant I could no longer toast my Pop Tarts.

Why do they call them political parties? I know I'm not having fun..
....If you want real gun control in this country, the way to obtain it would be to really form “a well regulated militia” of poor people protecting themselves against the thievery of the rich. Armed take overs of banks and stock exchanges, insurance companies, and other parasites would get gun control real quick.
But as long as it remains poor people killing poor people for chump change - they’ll let you keep your guns.

Ya know, if ya think about it... the most quoted bit in the New Testament - is John 3:16, which, depending on your preferred translation, reads: "Whosoever believeth in me shall not perish but have everlasting life."
I never really liked that bit – it seems rather "I, Me, My" for a guy known as the messiah and all...
So, I was thinking: Somebody down the line must have gotten the translation wrong and by "me" it really meant "my teachings," or more, simply, "forgiveness"?
And what if the "whosoever" had nothing to do with `you' and `your' paltry sins… what the hell does YOU and YOUR paltry sins have to do with anything?
What if the "whosoever" really meant… well... humankind itself?
And most important: What if "everlasting life" was really about the survival of the species not the individual?
Then the translation is… "If we embrace forgiveness, then humankind could live on the Earth forever." - John 3:16.
And that’s not random.
