Welcome to the latest addition of my newsletter.
Before I get to "THE MUSE AND WHIRLED RETORT"
I wanna say a little bit about some upcoming shows...
As you know, most of my stories start off with the phrase, "My car broke down," and this one is no exception.
It broke down last month in Seattle and I left it there and continued on in the faithful Celtic-Art-Studio-Mobile" known to us as "Casie." I have just returned to Oakland after a full and successful circle from Enemclaw, WA all the way to Dublin, OH; up to St Paul, MN; over to Milwaukee, WA; across to Portland and back down to Oakland. SHEW!
Why chandler... WHY are you telling me this. Well, because next week I am flying up to Seattle to get my car and continuing on with my 30 year anniversary of touring the country. Yes, it has been 30 years!
and NOW on this last minute extended leg of the tour I have some dates open - and i need your help.
In particular I need something in Portland, OR and in Ashland ASAP! If you have a a house and would like to host The Chris Chandler Show with music director Sean Shanahan then drop me a line at baldchandler@yahoo.com.

Holy are the misfits, the weirdos, the outsiders, the socially awkward -- the freethinkers -- for they are the creators and the creators are our saviors.
Saved are the writers, the makers of music, the poets, the storytellers, the dancers, the sculptors and the painters for they celebrate our glory and celebration is our glory, for there could be no glory without them.
Glorious are the makers of myth, the mappers of souls, the various seekers of verity. For they are hallowed, and for them I shout hallelujah!
Hallowed are the radicals.
Hallowed are the intrinsic, the eccentric, the characters and the off-the-wall oddballs... the dregs of society...
Divine are the dregs.
Holy are the hoi polloi.
Holy are the vandals for vigilance.
Holy are those that Howl for humility.
Holy are the riffraff of righteousness,
Holy are the wretched rank-and-file rabble yearning to be roused.
Potent are the passionate, for they fuel the flames of the pleas of the poets...
and from the ashes of all pretension...
the meek shall rise...
.................................into a world...
......................................................worth...
..............................................................inheriting.
