Hey Everybody,
It's that time of the month again!  I know it has been a while.  I did not put out a news letter in January or February.  That is the first time that has happened since the start of the MUSE AND WHIRLED RETORT.

It's not like there hasn't been plenty going on in this crazy world to write about – uprisings from the Middle East to the Mid-West, and rising Water from Tokoyo to Hawaii.

But things have been heavily in flux here in Chandlerville too. I know, I don't usually write about me in this newsletter – but since things have been  moving like a mechanical monkey… on a carousel… in an elevator… on a submarine… at high tide… on a spinning planet… in an expanding universe (I am getting emoting sickness just thinking about it) – I am going to do it this month.   Well… just because it's make believe doesn't mean I don't believe in it.

As many of you know I moved to Oakland awhile back and have been living in an artist's loft in the industrial area. This is the first time I have taken a little break from perpetual touring in more than 20 years.  Ya know, I once had a temporary tattoo that read, "YOUTH."  I felt like I need a little time to get my act together. So… Jen and I have started a little business called Ninth wave Publishing.  It is a way we can combine our skills and make a living.
That is why I am in LA right now – doing an art show with Jen.

See I figured – the only thing consistent in this changing world is the corporate take over of the planet and the only thing you can do is to become a corporation.  But I always wondered – if corporations are people – how come they get health care?  But I digress…  

Jen and I wanted to get some of that corporate personhood too.  That's right.  We did it.  Jen and I are now Ninth Wave Publishing Inc.  And of course our first endeavor is to launch a website to sell Jen's incredible artwork.

On March 1st we launched the new site www.celticartstudio.com

There are many things available there such as Limited Edition Signed Fine Art Prints, Jen's Book "Celtic Art Soul,"  and all of her designs in all kinds of formats including T-Shirts, calendars, cards, and stickers.  All made in the USA.

We can now use this as a platform to launch other little projects… including the reissuing of some of my earlier books and CDs.  But first…  is the publication of her dad's book – a cute little children's book about two Shelties  living in Wales called, Pippin and Seren.

I know I know…. Some of you are not buying this because you are familiar with my April Fools Newsletters – but no, really it  not April 1st yet.  Really.

I had to tell you that in advance before I lay the next big change on you.

We are buying a house.  In Oakland.  It is official.  I have been putting off sending out this news letter – Before it became official.  And now it is.  Believe me I considered waiting till April 1st to send it out – just to keep some of you guessing.  Hell, our neighbors don't even know yet.

It will be cheaper than this artists loft and we will have more space to run the business and store all of Jen's artwork.

In fact, right now, we are in L.A. doing our first art show together.  Jen's art is terrific and there is a reason it is so popular.  I have enjoyed my time off the road.  I have not been out there since Thanksgiving.  So, I know what you're thinking.  Has Chandler stopped touring?

No, Paul and I are going to set out in Late May for – first stop?  The Kerrville Folk Festival!  Holy Cow!  And then a summer tour of the west coast including the Oregon Country Fair, Harmony Fest, and The Shambala Festival in British Columbia.

The only thing is – with all of this looking for houses and setting up a new business, I am way behind in booking this tour.  So, I f you are in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, or British Columbia or Idaho, Montana for that matter an were looking for an excuse to bring this eccentric combination of Blues and Poetry to your hometown or even home – now would be a good to chime in.  It is an incredible show and I don’t plan to leave it behind.

In closing I would sincerely like to apologize for not getting the news letter out for the past two months but, really I have been very busy.  I am sure it was a lot harder for me not to send it out than it was for you not to receive it.  There is some much going on out there to write about – but there always has been – and always will be – I promise I'll get back to it.

But for now… Sorry, PT Barnum – The greatest show on earth is life – and if you don't like it you should find better seats.
