    APRIL FOOLS!

No, ladies and gentlemen - I have not been hired to be a motivational

    speaker for the Lockheed

Martin Company - opening for the Charlie Daniels Band (at the Paul

    Wolfowitz Theatre)  Maybe opening

for Ted Nugent would have been more obvious.

I have to admit I did have a little fun with it - but had no idea I

    would get bombarded with

replies!  I had over a hundred in the first 15 minutes!  In 24 hours

    it has been thousands!  Jeeze,

maybe I should consider a career  as a con artist.

In any event,  I felt  a second E-Mail is in order.  Feel free to

    reply.

OK OK - I promise not to bug you guys with two E-Mails in a row like

this again.  I really try to

make this strictly a once a month thing.  I really do appreciate your

    kind words and thoughts.

I got lots of congratulations, a few lectures on how I have slipped

    down the slippery slope, those

who gave me a several page lecture on selling out (celling out),

    musicians wanting to join the

band, tons of unsubscribes.  And even someone wanting tickets to the

    show with Hillary Duff.

In truth, I am in Pittsburgh right this second - preparing to head for

    Detroit to do the absolute

last we really mean it - till next time - show with Anne Feeney.

But I won't bore y'all with another newsletter - other than to say

    THANKS for all the responses.

I swear the people on this list are the absolute coolest folks on the

    planet!

And since so many of the coolest folks on the planet have asked -I

will give you a few highlights

of what is really going on.

    ************

I am working on a new CD with David Roe working title: "American Story

    Teller"

I have one piece recorded and working on 10 more!  NEW ON THE WEB

SITE:  A way you could donate

    directly

I am hoping that it will be A DVD!  I've written a few scripts and

    started shooting the first one

with a borrowed camera.  I want to thank all of you who have chimed in

with advice on this!  I am

still wanting to buy a computer so that I can edit this thing myself.

Till then if any of  you

want to get involved in any way - zap me back.

    *************

I am looking forward to a handful of dates in The NY area with D.R.

this month.  Look for lots of

    new material!

    ***************
